Support Center - Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 If this is you first time launching Microsoft Outlook 2003, the Internet Connection Wizard will open automatically. If not, run the connection wizard by going to: In Microsoft Outlook 2003, go to the Tools menu and select E-mail Accounts. Click on the Add a new e-mail account button and select Next. ![]() Choose POP3 as the Server Type, then click Next. ![]() In the User Information field, enter your full name, such as Bob Smith, and E-mail Address, such as bob@custom-name.com. In the Logon Information field, enter the full email address in the User Name field such as bob@custom-name.com. Enter the password for this email account in the Password field. The administrator for your account must create this email address and password for you. In the Server Information field, enter mail.custom-name.com for both the Incoming and Outgoing mail server fields. After all of these fields have been filled in, click on the More Settings button. ![]() At the top of the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the Outgoing Server tab. Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Click OK. ![]() Now you are ready to click Next in the E-mail Accounts window. ![]() Click Finish. ![]() Microsoft Outlook 2003 is now configured. |
